JOSEPH H. ABRAHAM, ScD, MS
Currently a principal epidemiologist at Apex Epidemiology, Dr. Abraham graduated Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (1993).
He attended The Harvard University School of Public Health were he first received a Masters of Science in Epidemiology (2001) and subsequently a Doctor of Science in both Epidemiology and Environmental Health with a minor in Biostatistics (2003).Dr. Abraham is a co-founder of Apex Epidemiology and a former faculty member in the Epidemiology Department at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
His past and current substantive research areas include health effects of outdoor air pollution and indoor environmental exposures.
His methodological work has focused on characterization of indoor environmental exposures. Dr. Abraham is also an experienced and enthusiastic instructor.
Prior to his training as an epidemiologist, he worked as a researcher in the Physiology Program in the Environmental Health Department at the Harvard Public Health
